What is eligibility for BBA?

Eligibility criteria to pursue BBA in Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Pune, Symbiosis International University includes the following:

Passed XII or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board / Council / University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of SC and ST category.
Qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Personal interview & Writing Ability Test of our center. Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT (SET score 50% and PIWAT 50%)

Eligibility for Differently Abled Candidates:

A student having blindness, hearing impairment and loco motor disorders with minimum 40% of damages can claim admissions under this category. A medical certificate has to be submitted in this regard during the admission process. The disability certificate will be cross checked by Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC), Pune, for admission under this category.

Primarily, the three years Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) had a preset structure. The program evolved to grant a framework so that students can choose from the bunch of courses with six different streams of specializations offered under BBA.

Symbiosis BBA caters ‘The Cafeteria’ course which has been designed to allow flexibility to the students to take up courses of their choice. The program comprises of 150 credits, with a mixture of core courses and elective courses. This approach encourages and permits the students to choose elective courses from various other specializations

The methodology includes interactive learning through workshops, lectures, Case studies, Industrial visits, Project work, Internships, Field trips, Research Projects and Simulations.

SCMS also provides for a Global Immersion Program (GIP) for a Semester exchange, Study tour, Summer school and Service Learning. Admission Procedure for BBA

Candidates aspiring to join BBA programmed offered by Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Noida (SCMS NOIDA) must appear for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET – General). Being, a National Level Test, SET will be conducted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) mode simultaneously across 80 cities all over India.

Step II: Pay for SCMS NOIDA

Online Payment for SCMS NOIDA – Through Net Banking, account details are available on the application form.

Offline Payment for SCMS NOIDA – Through Demand Draft in favour of “Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies” payable at NOIDA, to the Institute. In case payment is made by Demand Draft, please mention your name and the SET ID number on the back of the Demand Draft.

Step III: Download Admit Card for SET.

How difficult is it to get into symbiosis for BBA?

GD/PI is not too difficult if a candidate is prepared and updated on relatively current events. All candidates need to ensure that they read the papers and keep updated with the recent events. For PI one needs to be fairly well versed with their 12th syllabus. But the most important, is that a student needs to be well-versed with the English Language like it’s their mother tongue. Unfortunately that is just the current trend, and will be for the foreseeable future.
